Each year the society organises an annual flower and vegetable show taking place during August in the Corn Exchange. During the show the winners of the best garden competition and scarecrow competition are also announced. Show Secretary: Mrs A. Next year the show will be on August 7th 2027

Sections include Vegetables, Herbs, Flowers, Floral Arrangements, Crafts, and a Junior Section plus many more. Please consider entering the show in 2027, you would be most welcome and perhaps gain a first, second or third prize or a trophy, entries are open to all.

The Alford Corn Exchange is on Market Place between the Handyman Store and the Windmill Hotel. There is parking on street and across the road in the Market Place car park. A larger car park can be found behind the library on South Market Place just a few minutes walk away, with another near the Co-op.
